We took Uber to several locations but catching taxis on the corner was also easy to do. We took a bus ride up the beautiful mountainside to Monserrat and ended the day with a winery tour at the historic Oller Winery. We were close to everything we wanted to see like Salgada Familia, The Picasso Museum, and 4 Cats Café. Hearing the city wake up each morning added to the experience. The view of the street and the historic buildings make you wonder why you aren’t living in this beautiful city. The front balcony off the living room got plenty of use. The workstation on the back patio was the perfect place for morning reading. You can sit and enjoy the quiet in the morning, watch the birds rest on tree branches, and if you’re lucky enough to have it rain while you’re there, which we were, you can listen to it from the rear balcony or perched on the beautiful soft white sofa located on the enclosed back patio. The rear balcony overlooks a tree filled enclosed group of connected patios. We even used the champagne glasses to have a Mother’s Day toast for the moms in our group. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, and cookware. Having breakfast in the spacious dining room as a group was the perfect way to start each day. We visited two of several nearby grocery stores for everything we needed to enjoy breakfast. With eight people traveling in my group, the two couples and four individuals each had their own bedroom. Small touches like the little tray on the stand, made it easy to keep track of the keys. Stepping into the foyer we were greeted with a personal welcome message.
